Starboard Port Wine

Welcome to Starboard

And so the grand venture begins. I’m so thrilled that you’re reading this and are interested in learning more about Starboard.

It’s an intimidating yet thrilling experience to take an idea that’s so much bigger than yourself and bring it to life, which is why Starboard is not a solo venture. Like drinking wine, it’s much more fun to share great experiences and bold new pursuits with others.

What Starboard is

Starboard is a Port wine for entertaining enthusiasts. It’s a wine for those who like to toast to dessert. It’s an opportunity to forgo last call and keep the party going. It’s an excuse to put another log on. It’s a reason to celebrate.

It’s how great stories are uncorked.

It’s a Port for the new age. It’s accessible, well-balanced, and approachable. It’s discreetly popular.

“Starboard is that easy-going, spirited friend at the party who’s a master storyteller and declares the night is young after last call.”

Simply put: Starboard is for Port enthusiasts and the Port curious.

What Starboard isn’t

Starboard is not a stodgy Port wine that collects dust on store shelves. It’s not an overly indulgent wine that’s ‘too sweet’ for the discerning palette. It’s not meant to be served exclusively in mahogany libraries. It’s not just for the holidays. The act — or art — of drinking Port is not an outdated tradition. Starboard is not too expensive, and it’s not just for special occasions.

How we’re building Starboard

Together, as a collective — a group of wine enthusiasts who appreciate the camaraderie that happens when a bottle of wine is uncorked. If you’re reading this and you’d like to join along on the venture, consider this your invitation. Welcome to the community.

Stay tuned for the next entry where I’ll share how we’ll bring Starboard to life.

Cheers,
Rebecca
